Cracking the Google Ads Code
Jan 23, 2025
Why you should be using Google Ads.
If you’ve tried Google Ads and felt like you were throwing money into the void, you’re not alone. But here’s the thing: Google Ads can work, and extremely well—if you understand what’s changed and how to approach it in 2025.
First, don’t expect results overnight. Google Ads usually take 3–4 weeks to ramp up. Why? Because the algorithm needs time to learn who clicks, who calls, and who converts. Shut it off too early and you’ll never know what could’ve worked. The best campaigns are built with patience and strategy. People tend to think they are more expansive than Meta ads, but in reality, the intent is higher, so your leads are better and more likely to buy. Most of the largest epoxy companies out there are heavily spending their ad dollars on Google for this reason.Add a Page with Content
Second, skip Performance Max campaigns. They sound great—Google automates everything!—but in reality, PMax often spreads your budget too thin across YouTube, Gmail, Display, and other low-intent placements. That means fewer high-quality leads. Stick with Search campaigns, where intent is high and you can control your targeting and budget more effectively.
